whaBAM.com, which launched in September of 2005 as the newest premier auction site featuring the simplest fee structures, and no listing fees ever, has announced support for RSS (Really Simple Syndication) Feeds which provide whaBAM users quick and easy downloading and viewing of frequently queried or customized auction searches as well as status updates on watched items.

With a single click of the orange RSS buttons next to all major whaBAM categories, users can now create an automated RSS/XML feed to either view on their PC with a browser, whose link can be bookmarked, and referred back to dynamic filtered data. Additionally, the RSS Feed output can be viewed and monitored in a alone RSS/XML news aggregator client. whaBAM users can also download the file to their mobile phone or PDA and view their searches off- line while commuting or on-the-go.

A whaBAM RSS (Really Simple Syndication) "feed" produces a summary of searched data that is updated on a regular basis. whaBAM's RSS feeds conform to XML specifications, and can be read with any RSS/XML news aggregator, or browser. It is a way for users to keep informed of new items, or the status of watched items on the whaBAM.com website.

RSS Feeds help whaBAM users to quickly and easily monitor their searches, and the status of auctions they are watching, in addition to allowing them to download the feed to portable devices to view while commuting. whaBAM's RSS feeds make content more accessible, and they allow users to easily new content that is the user is looking for.

whaBAM continues to address the growing concerns of the online auction community, with increased security and anti-fraud measures, internal email system, in addition to it's revolutionary simplified fee structure with no listing fees, and list until it sells features.

The site currently has close to over 16,000 items, along with hundreds of active users, and is growing rapidly with an aggressive marketing campaign planned for 2006

Eren Niazi, Founder of whaBAM, reinforced the idea of supporting RSS feeds. "With whaBAM's RSS feeds, there is simply no reason for an active auction seller or buyer to be tied to their PC's while checking on new listings or status updates" he stated. RSS Feeds creates a new way for buyers and sellers to view their data, even on non-PC platforms.

Founded on Open Source technologies, whaBAM is the premier auction venue for the new millennium, fully embracing and supporting open source technologies including the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) applications and infrastructure.

About whaBAM

WhaBAM has been in development for several years utilizing extensive research and input from active auction users around the world. WhaBAM as founded by Eren Niazi several years ago. Eren believed that the online auction marketplace needed Fresh Pricing Structures, increased Fraud Protection and Security, as well as increased functionality and community involvement. The result is a site that truly benefits both buyers and sellers.
