LOS ANGELES, Nov. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - The opening night gala of "PUNCTURED HOPE" took place yesterday night on Sunset Strip in Hollywood. The media coverage at the event was done by Reuters TV, Producer John Russell, who interviewed the film's Director Bruno Pischiutta and Producer Daria Trifu.

Members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association(R) and members of the Broadcast Film Critics Association were in attendance. In particular, renown Broadcaster, Writer, Reporter Devra Z. Hill was present.

The screening ended in applause. Emerging Hollywood actress Jillian Abe said that "I loved Punctured Hope. Its a very sad story but a story that needs to be told. This is one of the best movies I saw in my life! Members of the Academy and the Foreign Press should see this movie. No one is qualified to decide the nominations for any of the upcoming awards without having watched PUNCTURED HOPE."

Also preset at the gala were famed Entertainment Attorney Robert Marshall, Public Relations Executive Dan Spelling, Publicist Susan Pascal, Financial Analyst Vivian Nana Afriyie and Member of the Board of Canadians Abroad Adriana Orlando.

Following the screening, Bruno Pischiutta and Daria Trifu were joined by some of the actors who will play principal roles in their next movie, THE MINNESOTA PROJECT. They include Saffron Ryon, Adriano Pignatelli, Jillian Abe, Michael Briggs and Erica Hess. At the gathering they have discussed the creation of a new genre of film.

PUNCTURED HOPE will start screening for the public at the Laemmle Town Center 5 Theater in Encino (17200 Ventura Blvd., Encino) on November 13. For seven days, until November 19, the film will be screening at 8:15 PM.
