Ohio Executive Touts Perfect Work:Life Balance Found in Ohio in National Ad Campaign

Brian Klink, operations manager of Hydrodec North America, finds perfect balance in Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Aug. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Brian Klink, operations manager of Hydrodec North America (http://www.hydrodec.com), recently talked about his personal and professional achievements with the Ohio Business Development Coalition, the nonprofit organization that markets the state for capital investment, in a national advertising campaign for The Wall Street Journal.

Klink left the hustle and bustle of the Beltway for Ohio, allowing him to succeed professionally and have more time for family.

"A 10-minute commute has its benefits. At the end of the work day, I don't waste any time getting home to enjoy life with my family," said Klink.

Hydrodec re-refines mineral-based transformer oil for re-use and is supported by AEP Ohio-its preferred energy partner. Generous incentives from the Ohio government support Hydrodec, as well as logistical pluses, like being within 600 miles of 60 percent of the U.S. population. An added bonus was the chance to bring new life to a brownfield-important for a company focused on sustainability.

"Top-level executives who have a true work:life balance will perform better at their jobs and the company will only achieve greater success," said Ed Burghard, executive director of the Ohio Business Development Coalition. "Ohio offers low-cost, low stress communities in a combination of micropolitan and metropolitan cities. This diversity provides executives the resources and time to make any ambition achievable. Ohio truly is the state of perfect balance."

AEP Ohio has partnered with the Ohio Business Development Coalition, the nonprofit organization that markets the state for capital investment, on a national advertising campaign in The Wall Street Journal. The executives featured in the campaign are those whose stories bring to life the Ohio promise of "The State of Perfect Balance" because they have achieved outstanding business success and are also achieving their personal aspirations.
